Isokinetic Sampling Nozzles (Probes) for measuring Liquids and Gases, including Water, Steam, and Natural Gas.

Deposits & corrosion in steam generating equipment (Boiler, OTSG’s and HRSG) and downstream process equipment (Steam Turbines, Heat Exchangers and Piping) are among the most expensive causes of maintenance, failures and outages in steam plants. To reduce the risk of deposits & corrosion in water & steam systems, proper control of the plant’s water chemistry and steam chemistry is required. Unfortunately many steam plants do not have properly designed & operating water & steam sampling systems.

It has been found from extensive water chemistry & corrosion control audits within steam plants that roughly 70% of steam sampling systems either have problems getting accurate samples or problems getting sampling without large sampling errors. The solution is the installation of an Isokinetic Steam Sampling Nozzle which can be used to collect a representative fluid samples by way of a single port style sampling nozzle. TES is the exclusive supplier of the Jonas Isokinetic Sampling Nozzle which is the only isokinetic design that meets the “ASTM D1066 – Standard Practice for Sampling Steam”. As well, it is the only sampling nozzle of its kind that is ABSA registered and comes with a CRN identifier for use within Alberta

Where steam quality & chemistry is important to your operations, and accurate steam sampling I required – you can obtain further information on the Jonas Steam Sampling Nozzle or to request a quote, by contacting the TES Group at [email protected].
